Tove Graulund operates from Copenhagen and provides custom strategic management consulting and marketing business development services related to the European market. Her experience in and knowledge of the IP legal community in Europe provides clients with access to broad, deep and up-to-date marketplace information.

Tove has over twenty years’ experience in intellectual property practice and management, including IP as an in-house expert where she developed several tools to create increased awareness and understanding of IP. Tove was the head of corporate IP at Arla Foods, and in private practice at Zacco, a leading European intellectual property consultancy, as a partner and director of cross-country development for the trademark division . For six years (2001 – 2006), she was chairman of the European trademark owners association MARQUES, where she lead the development of the mission and growth initiatives, working with a team of diverse individuals from many different cultures. She was responsible for implementing the first MARQUES strategic business plan, and was instrumental in making MARQUES a respected organization in the IP community by ensuring it was fully engaged in conversations about international IP issues. In 2009 she became the MARQUES representative to the Office of Harmonization of the Internal Market (OHIM). Among her accomplishments is chairing the task force in connection with the European Commission’s Study of the European Trademark System.

Tove’s contributions to the IP community were recognized by Managing Intellectual Property honoring the fifty most influential people in IP from 2003 to 2006 and she received the MIP Outstanding Achievement Award in 2006.

In 2010 Tove opened her own consultancy firm, Graulund IP Services, providing strategic advice to businesses and allying with Robin Rolfe Resources. Since July 2011, she also has been an external consultant to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), promoting the Madrid Protocol and gathering feedback from users in Scandanavia and the U.K. She is a frequent speaker and prolific writer on IP topics.
